hello, I'm Zorine Te. I work hard to quietly deliver the best content in video games.

Ben Mansill shares some of his thoughts on Indie Games.

Last night I attending a live filming of the Byteside show. It’s probably my 3rd time attending and as always, I had a blast.

Samsung had an interesting 3D gaming rig set up. I warily tested Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in 3D. The 3D glasses I tried on were noticeably much cooler then the ones I had to wear watching AVATAR 3D.

I’m still not sure how I feel about playing games in 3D. Surely the altered lighting viewed behind those lenses have some unwanted long term effects? Besides, when I launch into my four hour sessions I want to be as comfortable as possible. Getting sweaty under a pair of glasses does not constitute comfortable!

I had to stifle a laugh when somebody playing said out loud that it “Didn’t look any different”.

COD4.. in 3D! Watch as bullets fly past your head, as flashbangs render you blind! Just kidding. It does nothing like that.

It was great to chat and catch up with other Indie Devs; some I had met before and some I hadn’t.

Stay tuned for upcoming posts including some quick questions exchanged with Séamus Byrne (Hyper, Kotaku Australia) and Jeremy ‘Junglist’ Ray (PC Powerplay, Co-creator of ABC’s Good Game).
